I have come to a crossroads in my life and navigating which way I want to go has been something I’ve been putting off. I have had dreams of where I would be at this stage of life. I am not there, but overtime I have realized some of those dreams are not where I want to be. I want to be happy. When asked though what makes me happy, I sometimes stumble and cannot fully articulate what does. There are people that make me happy, places that make me happy, and hobbies, but I have not actively lived in happiness. I was put on this earth to live with purpose, be intentional in relationships, and enjoy everyday I am given. Those are the things that bring me happiness.
So I am starting a blog. Where I am journeying through life trying to live with purpose, take risks, and overall enjoy life. I would be thrilled for you to join me on this journey.

Name is Alexis, 27 years of age and living in the midwest. Recently graduated with my MBA and navigating the waters of what happiness in life looks like. Jesus is a huge part of my everyday life, and part of this blog will involved my ever-growing relationship with Him. I do not have it all together and life can be hard at times, but heck I wouldn’t have a story if everything was perfect!
I get my energy from being outside in the beauty of this world. Adventuring to new places and just taking in the view, man nothing better! There will be posts on this I am sure!
I love being with people and getting to know their stories. Many of my friends say I do not know a stranger; I just want people to feel known. I am learning though that I too want to be known and for that to happen I have to share life with others. Vulnerability, yeah that thing, leads to meaningful relationships. This blog is a huge step out of my comfort zone and sharing my journey with what seems like the world. *insert shocked face emoji*
Lastly, I am no writer, I actually did pretty bad in most english classes. We slightly blame it on my backwoods roots where I have picked up words are written like they sound. It makes for great laughs though. I will try my best though.
